This course builds upon the knowledge gained in the Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health, providing more in-depth training.

Please note, attending a Mental Health First Aid course is not a requirement before enrolling in this course.

To complete this course, you will be assessed through various methods, including practical real-life scenarios and questioning.

The final assessment will consist of both multiple-choice and open-ended questions.

Upon completing the course, each delegate will receive an Ofqual-regulated Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health.

This certification is valid for three years from the date of completion.

However, annual refresher training is highly recommended to ensure your skills remain up to date.
